Bobby Long Sworn in as Kiamichi Tech Board Member

WILBURTON, Okla. – Bobby Long, of Haworth, Oklahoma, took the oath of office to serve on the Kiamichi Tech Board of Education at the Board meeting on August 12, 2025. Long will represent Zone 7 of the Kiamichi Tech District, which includes parts of McCurtain, Leflore and Pushmataha counties.
“We are excited to have Mr. Long join our Board of Education,” said Superintendent Shelley Free. “He has recently served on our Business and Education Council, has a solid understanding of the importance of career and technical education, and truly has a heart for our students."
Long is the marketing manager for Complete Care Medical and volunteers for various organizations in southeast Oklahoma. He is a past board member for the Idabel Chamber of Commerce and the McCurtain County Fair and Rodeo Board. Long is a graduate of Haworth High School and Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Outside of his volunteer work and career in medical equipment and supplies, Long is a cattle rancher and enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
“I look at this opportunity as another way to invest in the future of southeast Oklahoma,” said Long. “So, I am honored to serve on the Board of Education, and look forward to working with the other Board members and Kiamichi Tech administration.”
