Primary Function: The successful candidate will be an instructional leader for full-time, part-time, and Workforce and Economic Development (WED) programs; and, will be an ardent advocate for CareerTech, have excellent verbal/written skills and have experience motivating others to implement school improvement strategies. The Assistant Director will assist the Director with all operations of the campus, including supervision of staff and faculty, developing strategies to improve services to students, clients, businesses and industries, recruitment, marketing, and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must possess a Masters degree or higher, a Secondary Principal Certificate and qualify for a Technology Center Administrator’s Credential. Primary Function: This position is responsible for the development, organization, implementation and the delivery of a blended program covering core engineering principles for both manned aircraft and unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). This will include, but its not limited to, aviation maintenance, operational skills for UAS, recording keeping and reporting.

Primary Function: This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, including the training and support of the Workforce and Economic Development (WED) Coordinators and the Client-Based Services Coordinator (CBSC). The Assistant Director ensures that both the WED Coordinators and the CBSC align their efforts with the district’s overall goals, providing direct guidance and assistance to meet the workforce and business development needs of stakeholders across the district.
Minimum Qualifications: Minimum requirements consist of a Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree preferred, in the area of education, business or equivalent with five (5) years’ experience in Career/Technology Business and Industry Services, Career/Technology education, managing a business or industry; or, a combination of these experiences for a minimum of five (5) years.
