  • Primary Function:  The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining building and grounds with quality custodial services. Must be willing and able to maintain a neat, clean personal appearance daily; Must complete requisitions, stock and maintain inventory records for supplies and equipment; Must possess the ability to operate power equipment.  Primary working hours will be evenings; 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM, M, T, TH; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, T, F. 

    Minimum Qualifications:   Applicants must possess a high school diploma/equivalent or higher with work experience in custodial/maintenance which includes working knowledge in building sanitation.  Applicant must be self motivated and have a proven track record of initiative in past assignments. Ability to obtain a CDL with a Bus Driver endorsement will be required.  The successful applicant will be subject to a criminal background check and drug test.

    Salary:   $16.20 per hour (qualified applicants can earn up to an additional $8,000 with a Class “B” CDL and passenger endorsement) plus a comprehensive Benefit Package including paid health insurance, paid vacation, paid sick leave, and 100% contribution into the Teacher’s Retirement System of Oklahoma  for full-time employees.  This position “WORKS A SCHOOL SCHEDULE” – including a week off at Thanksgiving, two weeks off at Christmas, and a      week off for Spring Break.

  • Primary Function:   The Career Specialist works collectively with partner schools to provide middle-level (5th-8th grade) students with career exploration, assessment, guidance, and planning to include: assistance with the development of Individual Career Academic Plans (ICAP), introduction to OKCareerGuide, coordination of work-based learning experiences and workforce internships, recruitment strategies, and Career Tech program tours.

    Minimum Qualifications:  A Bachelor’s degree in education, career tech education, or equivalent, with three (3) years’ professional work experience relevant to the duties and responsibilities of the position.  A current Teacher Certification is preferred.

  • Primary Function:   This position is responsible for organizing and developing an effective instructional program, academic and occupational, that will result in students achieving academic success.  Instructors are responsible for providing an educational atmosphere where students have the opportunity to fulfill their potential through individual and group instruction, as well as practical hands-on instruction.

    Minimum Qualifications:   An Oklahoma Journeyman’s or Contractor License is required. Applicants must possess a high school diploma/equivalent or higher with a minimum of two (2) years of approved work experience and be willing to obtain a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in order to secure a Technology Center Teaching Certificate.

    Salary:  $59,386.00 – $61,046.00 plus a comprehensive benefit package including paid health insurance, paid retirement, paid sick leave, paid holidays, and a school schedule with a week off for Thanksgiving, two weeks off for Christman, a week off for Spring Break and the months of June and July off.

  • Primary Function: The successful candidate will be a professional who wants to be a team player with experience working with MS Word, Excel, Access, etc., write grammatically correct business letters and answer business phones appropriately, operate office machines, maintain student records, assist campus staff and provide assistance working with students in a classroom/lab setting.    

    Minimum Qualifications:  Applicants must possess a high school diploma/equivalent or higher and be willing to assist instructors with the development and delivery of instruction to high school and adult students.

  • Primary Function:  This position is responsible for the active promotion, coordination and scheduling of post-secondary Adult Career Education, to include health related training, as well as training in support and service to the industrial and economic development activities in the area.  The successful applicant must visit and work directly with local, area and state entities to determine and meet specific training needs.

    Minimum Qualifications:   Applicants must possess a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in vocational/public/higher education administration/instruction, technical management and/or managing a business or industry and/or a combination of these experiences.  Applicants must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral and be knowledgeable of local and area business and industry.  A Bachelor’s degree is required.    Travel and flexible work schedule is required.

  • Primary Function:  The Pre-ETS Specialist works collectively to achieve Kiamichi Technology Center’s (Kiamichi Tech) mission, vision, and the shared goals of providing educational programs and services aligned with customer needs to enhance the overall organizational performance. This position reports to the Campus Director and is assigned duties and responsibilities to provide classroom instruction to students with disabilities (ages 14 – 21) as documented by an IEP, 504 plan, or a medical diagnosis; and, increase transition outcomes from school to work and/or post-secondary education.

    This position is a grant position funded through The University of Oklahoma National Center for Disability Education and Training; and, will be employed by Kiamichi Tech, as such, according to the salary, benefits, policies, procedures, directives, and administration of Kiamichi Tech.

     

    Minimum Qualifications:   Minimum requirements consist of a Bachelor’s Degree.  A teaching certificate and two (2) years’ experience working in a related field are preferred.
