WHEN CAN I APPLY? THERE ARE THREE OPTIONS:

  • Full-Program Applications to apply to the ENTIRE 1508-hour program, open each year, January – April  15. Click HERE to be redirected to the application-page.
  • Readmission Applications for former Kiamichi Tech PN students who withdrew in good standing, within the last two years, and who wish to return to finish the program. Click HERE for the Readmission Application policy and form.
  • Advanced Standing Applications for students from other PN programs who withdrew in good standing, within the last two years, and who wish to finish their PN program at Kiamichi Tech. Prerequisite courses apply. Click HERE for the Advanced Standing Application policy and form. 

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • Work with physicians and nurses in many healthcare settings
  • Learn foundational nursing skills, effective communication with patients and healthcare team, critical thinking, and decision-making
  • Experience a rigorous curriculum with relevant clinical instruction in a variety of settings

KIAMICHI TECH PRACTICAL NURSING PROGRAMS

Our programs are offered conveniently across 9 locations in Southeast Oklahoma with full-time, part-time, day, and evening options. Our curriculum is web-based; students must report to class first day with a computer/laptop with reliable internet connectivity.

  • Students complete the program in 11 months beginning in August and graduate the following June. Students attend 8 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., Monday through Friday for theory/lab instruction.

    Clinical days and hours vary, usually 8-12 hours per day, 3 days per week starting at 6:30 a.m.

    Locations: Durant, Hugo, Idabel, McAlester, Poteau

  • Students complete the program in 18 months beginning in August with a summer break in June and July, graduating the following May. Students attend 8 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday for theory/lab instruction.

    Clinical days are Tuesday through Thursday and hours vary, usually 8-12 hours per week starting at 6:30 a.m.

  • Students complete in 18 months beginning the program in August with a summer break in June and July, graduating the following May. Students attend 2:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday for theory/lab instruction. Clinical days are Tuesday through Thursday and hours vary, usually 8-12 hours per week starting at 2:30 p.m.
