TUITION ASSISTANCE

FAFSA (PELL GRANTS)

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) can be requested by writing, calling or visiting your local Kiamichi Tech campus. You may choose to complete the application online at studentaid.gov or a Financial Aid officer can assist you, if needed. You will be asked to provide certain documents; therefore, it is recommended that you call for an appointment to save time and unnecessary trips.

  • Kiamichi Tech SCHOOL CODE is: 009204. It will show Wilburton, OK.
  • Kiamichi Tech has one school code for the entire district. This code applies for all campuses. 

 

STEPS TO SUCCESS TUITION SCHOLARSHIP

The Steps to Success Tuition Scholarship is available to all campus programs per these guidelines:

  • All scholarships apply to tuition only.
  • Students are responsible for any additional class expenses.
  • The use of the Steps to Success Tuition Scholarship is limited to 1 career major (up to 1050 hours) in a full-time program OR 1 short-term WED program which leads to an industry certification (*cannot exceed value of 1050 hours tuition).
  • Applicants must reside in the Kiamichi Tech District.
  • Students are eligible for the scholarship within 2 years of completion of one of the following:
    • Graduation from a Kiamichi Tech partner school
    • Completion of a secondary education in a home school setting
    • Completion of a high school equivalency (HSE) credential
  • Short-term WED Program can be utilized by current partner school seniors. (See #3 above)

Required documents:

  • Completed Kiamichi Tech Application for Admission or short-term registration
  • Proof of secondary education completion (diploma, 7-8 semester transcript, or high school equivalency (HSE) credential)

OKLAHOMA Health Care Workforce Training Commission – Nursing Student Assistance Program

This assistance program is sponsored by the State of Oklahoma and is administered by the Health Care Workforce Training Commission.  There may be deadlines associated with this program.  You MUST contact the Health Care Workforce Training Commission for information and to apply.  Click HERE to download their flyer with contact and assistance program information.
